Overdue loans and penalties (23/7/22)
All categories of users are notified about the return or renewal of their borrowed material through automated email notices:
● One day before the loan expires
● The day after the loan expires
● Three days after the loan expires
The email will be sent from the email address: ilsas@seab.gr, and its subject will be "Notice from the Library". It is recommended that users also check their Junk Mail/Spam folder.
Overdue penalties
If the item is returned more than 3 days late, the borrowing of the book is suspended for as many days as the material is overdue.
In the case of repeated delays beyond the above, library membership will be suspended immediately and the Library Board will decide on the period of suspension, provided that the books have been returned by the time of the board meeting. Otherwise, the Board will have the right to permanently expel the member.
In the event of a delay in return due to illness or particularly serious impediment, timely communication with the Library will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
In case of loss of the borrowed document, the user must replace it. In case the book is not commercially available, the Library's Board will decide on a case-by-case basis
In case of damage, the user is responsible for its restoration.
